Our Owner
Hi, I'm Sharon, proud wife, mom and owner of Strapped For Time®. We are a small family owned business that started in 2004 by my father, David Helms. His passion for watches is what brought Strapped For Time to life. What started as a small eBay shop, is now one of the largest online retailers for genuine high quality watch bands.
I worked with my dad for nearly 10 years before he retired, learning about watches, watch bands, and running the business. His strict guidlines for quality products and excellent customer care remain our focus today as we continue to provide the very best for our customers.
Our Story
We've come a long way since our eBay days. Our official website opened in 2004 and took off quickly. We could see that we were answering a need in the market.
By 2012 we brought in our own line of leather watch straps, offering styles that were not available as after-market items anywhere else. Some of our best sellers have been from Strapped For Time® line, including the Rally Perforated Leather strap you see here.
Most recently, we redesinged our website for a better customer experience. We are happy to offer deployment clasp upgrades that we attach to the strap for you, making your strap ready to wear when received.
We are also authorized resellers for Hirsch watch bands, one of the best known names in quality watch straps. We are proud to offer their line of beautiful watch bracelets and accessories.
